Yo folks, it's New Year's Eve
and I’m spending it right here at home watching Kathy Griffin flirt with Anderson Cooper as the ball drops in NYC. Let’s just hope she doesn’t dump the f-bomb on an innocent passerby again this year. Anyway, here’s what I wore today. Random long-sleeved shirt under a Delia’s flouncy blouse-thingy under a pink Old Navy cardigan; Old Navy tutu under a Mossimo Supply...

Shippin' up to Boston
As you’ve probably inferred from all of the South Station pics, I took the train to Boston yesterday because it’s the holiday season and snowy and festive and fun. Here’s what I wore. Epic bear hat, Mossimo Supply Co. tank top, random long-sleeved shirt, Delia’s skirt, suspenders, a strand of pearls that I just sort of magically acquired. And I’m so mad at myself...

NaNoWriMo
Hello, folks! So, I’ve been really busy with homework, studying, etc., so I haven’t had much time to write so far this academic year. My NaNoWriMo novel turned out to be mainly crap, but here’s one excerpt I think is okay … What an unwelcoming ceiling it was! No glow-in-the-dark constellations gazed down at me. No creative light fixtures tossed glowing rays playfully...

I just realized I look a hell of a lot like Abigail Breslin in Little Miss Sunshine.

It’s like snowmen were sucked up in a cyclone and then fell — whoomp! — on my head. No seriously, it’s a blizzard out there! This is me after ten minutes of shovelling. Epic bear hat, eh? I could see better out there without my glasses than with them, and that’s saying something, ‘cause my eyesight’s not the greatest.

I feel like such a dork right now sitting in my living room laughing my head off. I’m just thinking about how Meg aptly told me the other day that my style was, and I quote, “granny chick.” Not chic, but chick. Oh Meggie. Here’s a lightbulb for you, since I know you love taking photos of light fixtures so much.

Yesterday was Christmas, and I wore an old black dress, a red checkered flannel sweater, and, underneath it all, a red paisley dress made by my friend’s mom for her little sister but she didn’t like it so it fell into my hands. Phew! I tried to be festive, although there’s never really that much reason to be festive at the Regal Cinemas in Middle-of-Nowhere-Land. I saw Tangled...

I'm in the midst of a blizzard right now ...
I went outside in vain hopes of capturing the moment, but it was really just whiteness and me. We chilled together for a while, but it wasn’t exactly the sort of whiteness that you can take a picture of. Here’s what I saw …
