This is what I wore to Friday night skating. My lips are so red from the cherry slushie I had!
Forever 21 dress, BCBG collared shirt, leggings from Target, and a random hat (with a pompom!) I’m not wearing shoes in the picture because, well, I was wearing skates! Also, I didn’t really feel like sitting down and lacing up a pair of shoes just for a stupid picture.
I should make a...

Who knew an art museum could have so much fashion?
I’m just going to throw in a bunch of photos and you can take it all in at your own pace.
Crappy quality image, high quality dress. It’s modern, straight off of some random actress whose name isn’t memorable or important.
The detail. So excruciatingly beautiful.
Again, blurry picture, but look at the hummingbird!
This is American from the late 1800s (I think)
I...

panicinmyheart asked: I love your clothes! Like seriously those kids at your school at your school are trippin'. lol But yeah I just wanted to introduce myself, so I'm Bri :)
I saw you love Betsy Johnson *high five*. Do you like any other designers? Have you seen any of the Fashion Week picture of vids yet?

There’s something awfully pleasing ‘bout the wide-eyed laughing stares The grimaces, the awkward looks, the jokes that I can’t hear The gestures gone unnoticed other than by me The sins that touch a nerve so deep Go unpunished for their subtlety
But when you turn your head around and look me in the eye In your irises and pupils lurk your feelings deep inside Your eyes’ whites paint your face...

Purple haze
I finally got to wear my purple capris! I bought them in the summer, when it was too hot to wear anything that extended down over the knee. Then winter just came — whoomp! — and it was impossible to wear anything that ended above the ankle. Friday, however, was around 50 degrees — perfect purple capri weather, in my book. I bought the tie-dye t-shirt from this really cool stand...

tias-little-universe-deactivate asked: So, hey Abigail! You told me to ask you a question, so here I am... hm.... let me think. AH HA! Where did you buy that hand necklace that you have in the top picture... I remember you wearing it all the time at school.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, I tried to dress accordingly. Sorry I look sort of pouty in the first picture; I guess that’s just the natural repose of my features.
Forever 21 skirt, random Abbey Road tee (with the song names on the back!), and Hot Topic hair bow headband.
Skirt detail. (It has embossed roses!)
Rhinestone heart necklace. I really have no clue where it came...
Plum
Hey guys! Follow Plum, a compilation of the works of my grade’s discontinued creative writing class. Mrs. Hughes, who runs it, will be busy until the spring MCAS, so we’re going digital! And in case you’re wondering, there’s no rhyme or reason for the name Plum. Trea and I thought of it one day randomly, and I guess it stuck.

Is it just me, or has Betsey Johnson been extremely influenced by Cruella de Ville?
Urgh she is so over-the-top and I would never actually get the chance to wear half the things she makes, but I love Betsey Johnson so much.
What’s this? Marilyn Monroe? Andy Warhol? MODELS WHO WEIGH MORE THAN 90 POUNDS?* Who wouldn’t love it? Now this is a shirt I would actually wear. And did I...

We went bowling on Friday. I made a documentary of it, copying Abigail’s that I reblogged a few weeks ago.
The quality is horrible, because I had to brighten most of it in MovieMaker so that you could see it. And I think that the music did something weird at the beginning, but it could just be me.
P.S. Forgot music credits- How Far We’ve Come by Matchbox 20.
I am so the coolest...

Of multiple eras
My 50s oxford saddle shoes from eBay just came in the mail!
I wore them with a white lace skirt from Delia’s and a t-shirt my mom got from a 2002 Rolling Stones concert.
Not to mention these rad pins:
Tin grins may be in, but damn, they are such a nuisance. You should have seen my teeth after I ate spaghetti this evening for dinner. However, being a poet is never a nuisance.

Whisper words of wisdom
This is the expression I make when my dad asks me how my camera takes photos automatically when I look at it. It’s a pretty neat feature.
Let It Be T-shirt, Delia’s skirt, Old Navy tutu, hand-me-down hoodie. I think every sibling in my family has owned that hoodie at one point or another.
Oh, and pentagram necklace and Beatles pin! Yeah, I’m a bit of a Beatles bandwagon.

Grunge is back
and better than ever.
Well, it’s not exactly grunge in the classic sense, but I love how it’s street style and people would actually wear it. The plaid and the layers go so well together and leave a lot of room for making it your style, not necessarily Nicholas K’s.
I love the whole Starry Night/blue and yellow thing by Lyn Devon. Isn’t this perfect for a rainy day?...

This outfit really has no rhyme or reason to it. The sweater was just really warm and fuzzy and that’s all there was to it. Gap sweater, Delia’s skirt, and hat which Eliz knit for me.
Am I really that frightening?
The other day I stood for a few seconds drinking from the bubbler at my school, which is adjacent to the bathrooms. A little boy from the elementary school, looking to be in about the third grade, stepped out of the boys bathroom, glanced at me, and SPRINTED down the hall as fast as he could. He looked like he’d seen a ghost or something. Did I do something wrong?
Wait, maybe I am a...

I was a cowgirl today:
Flannel shirt borrowed from my mom, same gold tutu as Sunday, random belt and black/gold neckerchief, and my Ariat leather boots from eBay.
This actually went over pretty well at school, aside from an occasional sarcastic, “What are you wearing?” “That bandana around your neck is gang-related!” or, “You look western today. Cowgirls...

Also, it's just "roller derby" not "the roller derby". Rookie mistake!

Roller derby!
Sunday’s outfit was inspired partly by this amazing video:
and partly by the fact that I went roller skating with Taylor that day.
I showed off my nonexistent muscles in an Ed Hardy t-shirt I forgot about which my aunt gave me a few years ago. I didn’t want to embarrass Taylor by wearing spandex like most of the girls in the video (no, just kidding, I wouldn’t wear that...
